Projects
Shovel-ready projects; the next wave of greenfield projects in North America
Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to produce renewable fuels including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Renewable Diesel (RD).
SAF provides a drop-in solution to decarbonize the aviation industry. Renewable Diesel offers a cleaner-burning alternative for road and rail transport, powering trucks, trains, and other heavy-duty vehicles.
Using our templated design and multiple site approach, our facilities will use readily available agricultural feedstocks like canola and soybean oil, as well as tallow, distiller’s corn oil (DCO) and used cooking oil (UCO). We will convert these oils into high-quality renewable fuels using a commercially proven technology known as HEFA (Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids). HEFA is the most mature and widely-used production pathway for renewable fuels globally.
Utilizing World Class technology that has been successfully deployed around the world.
Advancing the biofuels industry
Across North America
British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario
Canada
- Well advanced and aligned with The One Canadian Economy Act
- A MADE-IN-CANADA SOLUTION ADDING C$1B+ ANNUALLY TO THE CANADIAN ECONOMY
- CANADIAN FARMERS ARE THE PRIMARY BENEFICIARIES OF SECURE, STABLE, LONG-TERM DEMAND. AZURE’S FACILITY REQUIRES 10% OF CANADA’S EXISTING CRUSHED CANOLA OIL CAPACITY ANNUALLY
- Extends Canada’s position as an energy superpower and global leader in clean energy growth
Key aspects of the proposed Canadian Facilities:
Utilizes rail as the primary means of transportation of feedstock and SAF.
Creates 1,500 construction jobs and ~ 120 permanent full-time jobs per facility, growing to 150 with future expansions.
British Columbia
Located in Kamloops, British Columbia on the ancestral lands of the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc (“TteS”), the proposed 7Mile Renewable Fuels Production Facility is a joint project between TteS’ business arm, Sc.wén̓wen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), and Azure Sustainable Fuels. Together, we are ensuring this project is rooted in a shared commitment to environmental sustainability, cultural preservation, and economic development.
Our facility leverages its position in the heart of the Interior to connect efficiently with western Canadian markets and Pacific export routes. Access to key rail and highway infrastructure ensures timely delivery and broad market reach.

KANSAS
United States
- 100% Made in America value chain
- AT FULL OPERATING CAPACITY THE FACILITY WOULD REQUIRE APPROXIMATELY 1.4 BILLION POUNDS OF 100% AMERICAN PRODUCED AND PROCESSED FEEDSTOCKS ANNUALLY, WITH A CURRENT ANNUAL MARKET VALUE OF APPROXIMATELY US$750MM
- RECEIVED KEY REGULATORY APPROVALS AND WOULD BE THE FIRST IN THE US WITH THE ABILITY TO INTEGRATE FEEDSTOCK WITH CARBON CAPTURE, UTILIZATION & STORAGE (CCUS)
- This location represents an opportunity for the first major investment of this scale for the region
Key aspects of the proposed US Facility
Offers flexibility to use various U.S. produced feedstocks: distiller’s corn oil, tallow, soybean oil, with the capability to adapt to include others based on market pricing and availability.
Liberty Plains
Located in Cherryvale, Kansas; the heart of American agricultural growing region, the Liberty Plains project is in a prime location for access to feedstocks, while also, allowing complete market access by rail.
The facility’s co-location with Bartlett’s soybean crusher provides feedstock security and cost advantage.
